VlC Media Player

VlC Media Player has today become the synonyms of video i.e. watching video on your computer or mobile is taking resort to this brilliant application.  It won’t be an exaggeration to say that today VLC has the celebrity status in the field of media players.

Time to time VideoLan a non-profit software developing foundation which released VLC in the year 2001, upgrades the application to make it more user-friendly.  And its version 2.2.6 which I have been using since last two days has pretty much impressed me with some of the unique features it comprises but still there are lacks and unnecessary tool which confuses users.

  

  VLC’s most brilliant feature is its Sound system which can increase the sound of any video beyond the system’s own capacity and if there is a low volume of either video or system this feature helps the user to increase the volume to the hearing capacity.  There is extra ingredient also which may enable the system to put on the stereo, left, right audio mode.  There is an extended set of audio effects where one can adjust the sound according to his/her taste.  

Video feature includes the various screen sizes which are a good feature to have the best visual experience.

    

There is a live streaming feature in the VLC which lets the user stream live on VLC you don’t even have to close or minimize VLC for that you need to go on the streaming option and it will stream video of your choice.  Though it is a unique feature which VLC offers and is very good to watch live videos on this application it’s a bit tricky to use and one has to keep some patience for that.  

   

If we talk about the VLC’s interface it is quite good and there are Play/pause, forward/rewind and extended audio settings.  

It can be changed also both with the help of mouse and keyboard i.e. VLC has many shortcut keys for users.  This is again a very good feature of VLC that for many of the features one can only resort to keyboard only from screen size to play and pause.  There are different themes and colours also for the user to see his VLC as different from others.
MS Paint

There is a record button for recording a video while it is being played.  This feature is quite interesting because if you have a video already in your system why would you record it and fill your memory but if you are streaming life it becomes a boon.

It is very easy to download on your system whether it is Android, Windows OS, Mac OS, and Linux etc. and takes a few minutes to download and a relatively less space.

Overall it is a better media player with some unique features though there some lacks and needed to be corrected.
